lasagna for breakfast

Well, the week that was , firstly ,what a awesome win by my boys in blue ...Went to the game at loftus , and what a game it was , had it all wrapped up by the end of the first half leading 40 points to 3 , full time score , 47 - 10 to the bulls . Second half was so tame by comparison. Below , Morne' giving it his best shot .



 Sunday morning up and adam bright and early what an awesome ride we had ! .... The raw power of my KX 450 F does it again , the adrenaline pumping through my veins as I power up the side of a mountain is so addictive .... Its like a drug and of course the sheer joy of "summiting" is fantastic.



 These days I think teachers are far more demanding on our kids, My son was given 2 projects to make in a week , The first , a bird feeder ,  which I made in record time on a monday night , the second a volcano , which , by the way , has to erupt . I mean REALLY , dont these teachers think I have a life ???? .... let alone have to hold down a serious job . These poor kids , my daughter , has to make a structure out of paper dowls ... Oooops , I mean I have to make a structure ........

So wednesday comes , voting day , sprung out of bed and off to the polling station i go , only to find the queue's a mile long. No way iam standing in that for 2 hrs , so its off home again to make the kids and the wife breakfast , and to build an erupting volcano .... hmm iam thinking chlorine and jeyes fluid right now.... That should teach the teacher a lesson or 2 ! Breakfast made and consumed , volcano base constructed ..kids can now add the paper mache to the chicken wire , whilst i go to make my mark ..... X... & theres no prizes for guessing whom i voted for .... Remember the song in the 80's by "Trio " .... " DA DA DA  " 

Then from there off to cresta, time to save a life and give blood , but before that a few checks need to be made ... iron ... (tick ) ....... Blood pressure , 120/ 70 ( tick ) .... resting pulse , 70 b/m ( tick ) I dont know about you , but the worst part of the whole procedure is the finger prick , to tests ones iron . A pint and 6.28 minutes later ( my significant other beat me by a full minute )  , done and dusted .... home to cook The lasagna, the familys favourite . 

 And of course , what would a nice tasty meal like that, be like without ones favourite wine ? . Now , as some of you may know , i'am quite a foodie , but when it comes to wine , iam an amatuer connoisseur ,  I love a good bottle of red , and ive recently re-discovered a really descent label , at a descent price too , theres nothing like a "Tall horse " shiraz ....... well for a house wine anyway !

Now , Lasagna for breakfast is just "be yaa rra full " ( ok so i guess u gotta hear me say it ).. certainly kick starts my metabolism .. besides , iam gonna enjoy life from now till the world ends

Yip w.t.f. ??? Have you seen all those bill boards saying the world is gonna end on the 21st ?? Yeah right .... I think theres too many people out there that has seen the movie 

"The Day after Tommorrow " ..... Which brings me to my next slot , my movie of the week , 

Iam not a chick flic person , but the "significant other " is  ! ...  so in an effort to avoid conflict ,chick flic it is , so ... ( drum roll ) my movie of the week is .........

 " YOU AGAIN "

 starring Kirsten Bell... ( yummy ) a rather tired looking Jamie Lee Curtis , and Sigorney Weaver . For a chic flic , the plot isnt bad at all, something easy to watch after a heavy day at the office.
